Many people have commented on the superior quality of Madhava Agave Nectar compared to that from other producers.

Madhava Agave Nectar is produced from the sweet "sap" of living plants. Other producers use harvested Agave plants leftover from the production of Tequila.

Also, Madhava Agave Nectar has a consistency that cannot be matched. Agave syrup producers secure their supplies from different farms and several varieties of Agave. Madhava's producer has a unique source.

Collected by Native Central American Indian peoples on their land, all source plants are genetically identical as a result of the reproduction technique. By cutting off the reproductive stalks, the plant yields juice while reproducing from the roots. So, the plant produces saplings of itself over many years. The result is a high-quality, consistent product from a reliable and renewable source.

Our producer promotes positive development of native cultures, as well as socially responsible, environmentally self-sustainable and economically feasible to production methods. Their main goal is not only profitablilty but also to promote fair business practices. We reward the effort of small producers and  support the end-users and consumers of the product. We reward community work and do not give profits to individuals, instead to the organizations.

Madhava Honey Company is located in the Boulder County foothills near Lyons, Colorado. Our company has been an active and committed participant in the local honey market for 31 years and counting. Over that time, we have established deep roots with our states' beekeepers which enables us to offer a selection of honeys of consistent high quality and distinctive flavor.  We entered the agave market in  2002, continuing our tradition of high-quality, healthful sweeteners accompanied by "best in class" customer service.
